Visitors Chapel holds

anniversary services

Historic Visitors Chapel AME Church, 319 Church St., will celebrate its 146th Church Anniversary Sunday. The Rev. Clarence Boyd Sr., retired presiding elder, will speak at 11 a.m. and the Rev. Clarence H. Guy Jr., pastor of Bethel AME Church in Malvern, will speak at the 3 p.m. anniversary service. The theme will be "Growing Deeper, Growing Stronger and Reaching Higher." The public is welcome.

Fall festival today

at Faith UMC

The First Ever Faith Festive Fall Follies will be held from 1-5 p.m. today at Faith United Methodist Church, 321 Nash St., next to the YMCA. There will be old-fashioned activities like pumpkin carving, a mini hayride, pumpkin walk, bobbing for apples, etc. Refreshments and grilled hots dogs will be served. Everyone is welcome.
