Second-grade student Jared Vega shares a crazy story with Emily Smeltzer's class at Lake Hamilton Elementary School to conclude a four-week study on Lois Lowry's books. The class celebrated Lowry's book, "Gooney Bird Greene," by dressing like the main character and eating cupcakes, her favorite food. Each student wrote their own crazy stories and read them aloud to their parents.
