Village Fall Fest set for Saturday
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- An old-fashioned family carnival will be offered to the community in the form of Village Fall Fest, set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Grove Park and next door in the Ponce de Leon Center parking lot, 1101 DeSoto Blvd.
Festival entry, games and activities are all free, and vendors will have a varied selection of foods and beverages for sale.
Community welcome to Trunk or Treat
The Hot Springs Village Police Department and the Hot Springs Village Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will sponsor a Trunk or Treat event from 5-7 p.m. Monday in the police station at 113 Calella Road.
Glow bracelets, blinking lights and treats will be given out to all children who attend this safe and family friendly Halloween activity.
On-site service set for golf carts
The Jerry Pate Co. will conduct specialized preventative maintenance service from 8 a.m. to 3 pm Wednesday for members who have private golf carts at Magellan Golf Club, 451 Ponce de Leon Drive.
