Dear editor:
Some of us are tired. Tired of not being able to trust or respect the people running to become our country's leader, tired of the money being spent behind the scenes, tired of the constant negativity, of knowing that no statesman has come forward to run for this office.
No one has addressed the issue of Social Security, as if seniors no longer exist. What about addressing the very large number of people able to work but choose to live on the money taken from the pockets of hardworking people?
Instead of selling health insurance, who in our government will discover the reasons behind exorbitant health care costs and work to solve that problem? We're also tired of the protests and rioting and looting. If those same people would put their efforts into finding common ground, connecting us all as human beings and put the work into making peace instead of looting and rioting we would be invincible as a nation!
Yes, we're tired, and sad to know the mess we are leaving future generations.
