HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- The Computer Club of Hot Springs Village will have its September general meeting on Wednesday in Room 5 of the Coronado Community Center, 150 Ponderosa Lane.
A help desk and social time will take place at 6 p.m., with the presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m. This month's presenting technician will answer questions at the help desk.
The main topic of discussion during the meeting will be the new features of the anniversary update to Windows 10. Attendees can also learn how to get the update without waiting.
A new element of monthly meetings will be offered for the first time. Local support technicians will present about computer problems they often see and fix. Trevor Lewin, the Computer Tutor, will be the first guest.
For the recently added App of the Month feature, the meeting will spotlight an app geared to making it easier to find things in Windows 10.
And on Thursday, the class "Organizing Your Photos and Documents" is set for 1-4 p.m. in the CCC. The cost is $12 for club members, and $20 for all others. Online registration is available at http://www.cchsv.org.
