The final 2016 Food Truck Friday at the Market event will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hot Springs Farmers & Artisans Market, 121 Orange St. A diverse sampling of vendors will be on hand to "dish it out" in a variety of styles and flavors.

September's featured vendors include the following:

• Dusty's Shrimp & Crawfish from Magnolia will offer dishes including fresh crustaceans, fish, and chicken. Meals will include locally grown and made pickles.

• Itz Gůd Füd partners with several local farmers to feature gluten-, chemical- and hormone-free foods. Chicken, pork and vegan tamales will be served for lunch and crepes for dinner.

• Kristina's is back from Maumelle to bring the Big Easy to Hot Springs with red beans and rice, jambalaya, and Cajun gumbo. Also on hand will be shaved ice, smoothies and other fun fare.

• Little Penguin Tacos from Arkadelphia serves an eclectic blend of locally grown ingredients such as chorizo, bratwurst, pineapple and sweet potato for a unique taco experience.

• Roxy's Dessert Bus will serve confectionery goodness from Honey Pies, Loblolly Creamery, Wild Confections and Julie's Sweet Shoppe.

• Roxy's Twisted Sandwiches is Conway's coolest and corniest new take on sandwiches. They fill bread cones with homemade ingredients, such as the Twisted Cheeseburger featuring mac and cheese, ground beef, pickles, onion and spicy mustard.

• The Wunderbus serves locally grown and produced German sausages with authentic German breads and side dishes.

• Whitworth Concessions is "bringin' it home" with its famous BBQ loaded tater twisters and nachos.

Citizens Bank is the presenting sponsor of Food Truck Fridays, making free admission to the event possible. David Wooldridge, Citizens Bank EVP market president, said in a news release, "We are pleased to bring Food Truck Fridays to the community for the second year. The May truck meet exceeded attendance expectations and we can't wait for all the great food, music and fun on the 30th."

Jacob Flores, a local talent, will perform for lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the market pavilion. Flores blends his heritage with today and delights audiences with his soulful mariachi sounds. "In addition to mariachi, I grew up listening to all kinds of music. I didn't focus on one style or genre. I sought out music I could connect with, no matter the classification. My music is a reflection of the many facets of who I am as an artist. No restrictions, no limitations."

For dinner, market-goers can grab their dancing shoes and join That Arkansas Weather, a stellar young band founded by talented and soulful musicians. Deriving its name from the mercurial climate of the state, That Arkansas Weather plays a delightfully unpredictable combination of jazz, soul, R&B, funk, and hip-hop. The band consists of capable composers and improvisers and performs both original material and new interpretations of classic songs while striking the perfect balance between accessible and experimental and familiar and spontaneous. The band will perform from 5-7:30 p.m.

A rain-or-shine event, covered dining is available under the market pavilion. The gates into the pavilion area will be closed to provide a safe environment for pedestrian traffic. Accessible parking will be designated near the curb cutouts and sidewalks. General parking is available on Orange Street north of the market pavilion, as well as off Broadway Street south of the market. This outdoor event is hosted on the city's Greenway Trail.

The city of Hot Springs both sponsors and partners to assure the event's growing success. Additional sponsors include Itz Gůd Füd, The Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs and The Springs Magazine. Blankets, lawn chairs, Frisbees, dogs on leashes with waste disposal bags and bug spray will be admitted. Ice chests, glass containers, and cigarettes are prohibited.
