The whole story

Dear editor:

Today, Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, I once again find myself frustrated at the editing of your paper. Being from a military family, I usually read articles with a national defense reference. On Page 8 I began and finished the published article with the headline "Pentagon chief is expert on nukes but says little about them." As the article ended so abruptly, I wanted to know what was left out. Finding the article written by Robert Burns of the AP using a Google search, I found the remaining five paragraphs.

I have noticed similar "slip-ups" in the past and now I am of the opinion that no one reads the articles, just makes them fit the area.

As Melinda says, I give you a big "thumbs down." Either read and publish the whole article or don't.
