Dear editor:
I'd like to thank everyone who donated, walked or in some way volunteered to make our annual fundraiser, "Walk for Christ," on Sept. 24 a great success. We held two walks on that day, one in Hot Springs Village and one at Hollywood Park in Hot Springs, with a total of 40 walkers. So far, the Lord has provided over $8,000 for the ministry. I also want to thank Barcelona Road Baptist Church for hosting us in the Village; and also Dick Antoine for having me on his "Talk of the Town" show on Sept. 16.
We are grateful that the Lord has worked through all of you so that we can continue to bring the good news of changed lives through Jesus Christ into our county jail. We know that God is making -- and will continue to make -- a difference in the lives of those touched by the criminal justice system for the betterment of our community.
