The 22 participating studios are spread across Garland County, so attendees will drive themselves to each location to tour the spaces of working artists where they can spend as much time as they like at each location. Artists not only show their art, but also reveal the intimate spaces where they create and work. It's a great opportunity for patrons to interact one on one and see the art making process, a news release said.

Attendees will see drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, stained glass, fabric, metal, and wood along with other media being created.

A map and listing of participating studios and more information about Arts & The Park can be found at http://www.hotspringsarts.org.

Studio Tours is part of Arts & The Park, a 10-day celebration of the arts in Hot Springs that includes over 60 events planned during its annual art festival from today through May 7. Arts & The Park is made possible thanks to community support by presenting sponsor Mountain Valley Spring Water, and is also sponsored by entities including Arkansas Department of Heritage, Visit Hot Springs, The Morris Foundation, The Munro Foundation, Hot Springs Village, and Arvest.
