Vendor of the Week Debbie Tripp of Rosemary Hill Herb Farm has many unusual plants for sale, all which include a story and tips on use of the plant. She is knowledgeable about plants, their medicinal properties, and what will attract butterflies, pollinators, and hummingbirds to a garden. Her bronze fennel is a feathery leafed plant that is bronze in color and attracts butterflies on which to lay eggs. Tripp also has a selection of purple pincushion, yarrow, and milkweed. She makes container kitchen gardens which include oregano, rosemary, thyme, summer savory, and sage, and offers lavender, almond verbena, patchouli, lemongrass, and lemonii marigold, a natural mosquito repellent.
This week's Farmer of the Week is Lester Meredith.
