Jones told officers he had been home with his infant child all day when Owen reportedly came home and started to argue with him. He alleged Owen was responsible for his injuries.

Owen told police the fight started on Sunday, after Jones accused her of cheating on him. She said he screamed expletives at her and began to push her and she only scratched him in an attempt to defend herself.

She said she arrived home Monday and Jones began accusing her of infidelity again, and pushed her into a wall. At that point, she said she called 911 for help as Jones continued to assault her.

She alleges he shoved her at one point, causing her to lose her balance and fall through a window. Afterward, he allegedly picked up a chair and threw it at her back. Officers observed bruising on Owen consistent with her story.

Both suspects were placed in custody and transported to the Garland County Detention Center. During transport, Jones reportedly stated, "Are you only taking me to jail so you can go back and f - - - her?" The entire length of the ride to the detention center Jones was allegedly loud and kept shouting, "Make it right. I know Hearnsberger and lawyers."
