The Muses Project will usher in the beauty, joy and majesty of Christmas with its 12th annual "Voices of Angels" sacred classical Christmas concerts, set for Dec. 7-10 in Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village.

The Muses will present timeless classical Christmas music performed by outstanding singers in solos, duets, and ensembles, along with talented ballet dancers and accompanied by skilled professional instrumentalists.

"Voices of Angels" showcases the captivating female voices of soprano Deleen Davidson, mezzo-soprano Christina Lamberti, and sopranos Ruth'e Korelitz and Katy Brockinton. As the Muses Project's founder and artistic director, Davidson has designed, produced and presented excellent high quality professional artistic programs to statewide audiences for the past 10 years. With over 20 years of professional training and experience on both musical theater and opera stages, her impressive resume includes performing as an internationally touring recitalist, and as a soloist with the New Orleans Opera.

Lamberti, a critically acclaimed mezzo-soprano from New York, is a newcomer to the Muses troupe. Recognized internationally, she has been hailed for a sound that ranges from "a full-throated performance, riveting in sound and fury" to "such delicate nuances that only the greatest masters can portray," a news release said. She has performed for some of the world's leading organizations, including San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Estonian National Opera, Slovenian National Theatre, Singapore Lyric Opera, and the Singapore Symphony. Established resident Muses Troupe members Korelitz, a passionate vocalist with a repertoire that spans from opera to jazz, and Brockinton, who frequently performs throughout Arkansas and is a choir director in the Russellville school district, complete this troupe of exceptional singers.

The concert is sponsored by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette and The Sentinel-Record.
