St. Mark Baptist celebrates 58 years
St. Mark Baptist Church, 542 Crescent Ave., will observe its 58th church anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday. The theme is "Re-engaging, Re-visioning and Re-vitalizing under the Cross of Christ." The guests will be Pastor David Withers and Living Waters Church of God in Christ. Everyone is welcome.
Community Fellowship Service at Unity COGIC
Unity Church of God in Christ, 200 Gardner St., will hold a Community Fellowship Service at 3 p.m. Sunday. The theme will be, "I Will Pour Out My Spirit Upon All Flesh." Speaker will be evangelist Tyrone Burnell, of the Springs District and Unity COGIC assistant pastor. District 2 Director Elaine Jones will greet and give observations and directives on her district. Music will be by Pastor James E. Story and Cottrell Chapel Choir, Pastor Steve Lake and the Eureka Baptist Church Choir and evangelist Annie Harrington, of Unity. The public is welcome. Nazarene Baptist celebrates 79 years
Nazarene Baptist Church, 220 Silver St., will celebrate 79 years at 11 a.m. Sunday. Guest speaker will be the Rev. James Frierson, of New Life Christian Fellowship.
