Members of Village Bible Church and the Baseline-Meridian Chapter United States Daughters of 1812 recognized 69 veterans of the church with a special flag lapel pin affixed to a red, white and blue ribbon. Carl Wetzel, left, is being pinned by Marlene Wilson, a USD 1812 member. This is the fifth year for the traditional "pinning" of the veterans, which included four ladies who served this nation. Village Bible Church, 100 Ponderosa Way, Hot Springs Village, holds worship services at 9:15 a.m. Sundays.
