The Village Chorale to return to Anthony Chapel

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- The Village Chorale will return to Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens for a concert at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The event is free and open to the public.

Formed in 1997 for the purpose of presenting quality choral music to Hot Springs Village and its surrounding areas, The Village Chorale performs standard secular and sacred choral literature in a wide variety of styles, including classical, spiritual, Broadway, jazz and pop. The pieces for this season's concert include ones by the Chorale's favorite composers/arrangers, including Craig Courtney, Joseph Martin, Mark Hayes and Howard Helvey.

The Village Chorale is directed by Ellen Nagode and accompanied by Hot Springs' own Kristen La Madrid. Larry Venable will once again serve as Master of Ceremonies.

The Village Chorale will also host its full-length concert "Winter Magic" at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at Woodlands Auditorium in the Village.
