GC Library to host seed tape program

The Garland County Library, 1427 Malvern Ave., will host a program on Winter Gardening: Seed Tape at 2 p.m. Dec. 9 in the library's auditorium.

Drew Bradbury, owner/operator of A Living Pantry Farm, located in Donaldson, will teach a program on making biodegradable seed tapes for spring gardens. "Pass a cold, winter day making seed tapes for your spring garden. These biodegradable tools allow gardeners to space tiny seeds such as lettuce, mustard, carrots, and turnips perfectly long before planting time and eliminate the need for hand thinning later," Bradbury said in a news release.

Bradbury is a founding member of Garland County Grows, the library's seed library and is a Certified Permaculture Designer from the international Permaculture Design Institute.

The program is free to attend but requires advance registration.
