Fun City Chorus will hold its annual Christmas show, "Christmas with the Fun City Chorus and Friends," at 7 p.m. Thursday at The Warehouse event venue on Broadway Street.

The Christmas variety show will feature the Fun City Chorus, Ken Goodman, Jackie Beaumont and Ray Liebau. Refreshments will be served at intermission as part of the show package. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at http://www.funcitychorus.org or at the door on the night of the event.

"Christmas with the Fun City Chorus and Friends" is filled with fun and laughter and beautiful, inspirational Christmas music. Proceeds benefit The Kim Holland Pay It Forward Fund, a nonprofit organization in Hot Springs that helps women age 50 and older within the community with direct assistance due to illness, family loss or financial duress, a news release said.

Fun City Chorus has had a banner year, beginning with a successful Singing Valentines program and followed by two major shows, "The Boys of Baseball" in April and "The Cigar Box Men" in August. Members are extremely active during the Christmas season with numerous sing outs and mini shows. The chorus is experiencing growth with the influx of several new members this year and continues to be an integral part of the Hot Springs music scene under the direction of Steve Spakes, the release said. It recently took home a first-place finish in the Tom Daniel Holiday Chili Cook-Off.

Fun City Chorus is always seeking new members. Male singers with interest in singing, community service, great camaraderie, and fun can call Doug Calloway at 870-734-6185 or Steve Spakes at 501-282-6081 for more information.
