HSV Audubon topic: music and bird songs
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- As guest speaker for Hot Springs Village Audubon, Kayla Gomance will present "Music is for the Birds," about the steadfast relationship between music and bird songs, at 10 a.m. Friday at the Coronado Center.
Gomance is the park interpreter at Lake Ouachita State Park. She will demonstrate how bird songs have weaved their way into the compositions and hearts of numerous musicians and will shed light on this phenomenon and pass on some inspiration along the way.
There will be a Christmas treat of cookies and coffee.
