Children's choir sings
at GCRT meeting
Garland County Retired Teachers Association will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Garland County Library. Fellowship will begin at 10 a.m. The program will be the children's choir from Gardner Magnet School.
DAV Chapter 5 has
early December meeting
Disabled American Veterans Chapter 5 has changed its December meeting date. It will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday at Smokin' in Style BBQ, 2278 Albert Pike Road. The DAV member and one guest may come to the large meeting room where the meal will be served.

Elks taking reservations
for New Year's Eve party
Elks Lodge 380, 132 Abbott Place, is taking reservations for a steak and chicken dinner from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 31 with Fab 3 performing on stage from 8 p.m. to midnight. Cost is $40 per person, which includes the dinner, party favors, hats, champagne and entertainment; or $25 for the dance only.
Reservations will be taken from 5-8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays at the lodge or with any lodge officer.
HSV Computer Club
activities announced
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- The Computer Club of HSV will have its annual Christmas Party at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Coronado Center, Hot Springs Village. Please bring a dessert or heavy hors d'oeuvre.
The Mobile Devices help group meets at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Drop-in Help at 2 p.m. at Village Church of Christ on Balboa. The monthly Windows and Office Special Interest Group meets at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Membership is not required and there is no cost to attend any of the help groups.
