Aaron Lee Looper, 35, address unavailable, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor carrying a weapon, each punishable by up to a year in prison, driving on a suspended license and a citation for failing to yield.

Davis and Looper, who were later released, were also scheduled for a court appearance on Monday.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Deputy Matthew Cogburn initiated a traffic stop on a 1998 Cadillac Deville in the 3000 block of Albert Pike Road after the driver reportedly failed to obey a stop sign. The vehicle came to a stop and the passenger, later identified as Toliver, allegedly exited the vehicle and began to walk away.

Cogburn exited his patrol unit and made contact with Toliver, who allegedly refused to identify himself and continued to walk away. Toliver reportedly became combative and tried to push past Cogburn in an attempt to cross the street.

He allegedly became even more combative and pushed Cogburn to the ground as the deputy was attempting to detain him. Cogburn suffered injuries to both of his knees, the report said.

Toliver allegedly continued to be combative and resist arrest until Deputy Justin Parker arrived on scene to assist, deployed his Taser and placed Toliver into custody. LifeNet arrived on scene to assess Toliver and Cogburn.

During his assessment, Toliver reportedly identified himself and deputies learned he had warrants for his arrest and was on active probation. Toliver was escorted to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs by LifeNet and Parker "due to his epilepsy" and later released into custody.

After Toliver was secured, Cogburn made contact with Davis, Looper and one other occupant. He reportedly detained the three individuals for his safety after locating several large knives.

A search of the vehicle revealed a black bag allegedly containing two syringes, a set of digital scales, three large knives and a purse that reportedly belonged to Davis. Inside the purse, Cogburn allegedly located three bags and two containers of suspected methamphetamine, a bag of suspected marijuana, three pipes and a spoon.

Cogburn placed Looper and Davis into custody and transported them to the detention center. During a search of Davis' person, a glass vial containing suspected methamphetamine was allegedly found in her bra.
