Radio club hosts volunteer examiner test
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- Hot Springs Village Amateur Radio Club will sponsor a volunteer examiner testing session at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in Room C at Garland County Library, 1427 Malvern Ave. The doors open at 9 a.m. Anyone interested in upgrading their amateur license or obtaining a new one is welcome. Upgrade candidates are required to bring a photo ID, their original signed amateur license and any applicable CSCEs. A processing fee of $15 will be collected. Unlicensed candidates need only bring the photo ID plus the fee.
