'Thanks' to Trooper Sawyer

Dear editor:

Traveling alone on Feb. 9 from the Little Rock Airport on Interstate 30 between highways 70 west and 270 west to Hot Springs, at 10:30 p.m., I got a flat tire. I called 911 to get a telephone number for a wrecker to tow me in for repair. The 911 operator connected me to the Arkansas State Police. Within 12 minutes, Trooper Sawyer of the Arkansas State Police pulled in behind me and quickly changed my tire.

I had no idea the state police offered this service, and how grateful I am that they do. I was in a terrible mess. (Being a senior citizen made my situation even worse since there is no way I could physically change a tire.) Aren't we in Arkansas blessed with such kind and caring state police?

Many thanks to Trooper Sawyer. I shall never forget his kindness in helping me. Thank you again and again, Trooper Sawyer.
