Human trafficking

Dear editor:

More on human trafficking: Because I write from memory and don't fact check, I encourage any and all to tell me I'm wrong ... and believe me I would like to be wrong; but didn't I read that the foster care system in Arkansas is so crowded that some children are being shipped across state lines? And I think I read how food providers, linen providers, cleaning companies, guards, dog trainers, builders, road makers, etc., are all getting rich off our ready supply of (human) prisoners. These prisoners were once darling sweet babies who had the misfortune to be unplanned, uneducated and uncared for, but were destined to take care of the whole prison system -- all of the adults and all of their families going on for generations. The prison staff and builders are not at fault. A society controlled by cult religious fanatics are the culprits.

Some arrested bad boys have an advantage over bad girls -- they can choose to be bomb-fodder in the Middle East, and if-when they come home "good," they give all the credit to our armed services, but just maybe, it's because they didn't go to prison where humans get out more violent than when they go in. And our protect-the-fetus-forget-the-child society can produce scary, violent adults and an ever-growing supply of a product -- oops, I mean criminal. What about our wonderful police who want "to protect and serve?" Do they go to bed at night wondering what is coming to our magical, unique, town?

And didn't I read this Valentine's morning that "Arkansas is once again in the top four states for the number of children facing food insecurities" and that Garland County ranks higher than the state average? "This means nearly 6,000 children locally are hungry and do not know where they will get their next meal." Preachers, why not protect every child as a precious jewel instead of demanding more births to women who can't care for these unfortunate babies. Are you so controlling and power driven? Can you really think it's better to force a birth, but starve the child ... and not just by withholding food ...

And why this big headline: "State considers banning 'sex-selection' abortions?" Has this state gone crazy protecting the fetus? Is it because the huge cult churches have so much voting power that our elected officials have completely forgotten the child.

When is The Mad Monk going to start burning books?
