Kirby & Company changes name, announces partnership with Moore

Kirby & Company, the Spa City's "leading marketing, social strategy and image management firm" has changed its name. The agency has been rebranded as 61 Celsius. The name is derived from the natural temperature of the town's famous thermal springs.

Stephanie Alderdice, owner and creative director, explained the inspiration for the updated identity. "Hot Springs' thermal waters have been considered a source of refreshment and energy since the first explorers passed through the Valley of Vapors. Like those waters, we believe that ideas spring forth when working with our clients to find interesting ways to highlight the value their businesses and organizations bring to Hot Springs and communities throughout Arkansas."

The agency was founded in 1988 by Kirby Williams, a long-time veteran of advertising in Arkansas. The firm was acquired by Alderdice, who joined the firm in 2014, to grow the agency's digital and social marketing services. Williams left to serve as chief marketing and retail bank officer at Stone Bank in 2016.

Today, the group continues to serve a variety of clients, including Visit Hot Springs, The Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce and Stone Bank, in addition to a number of businesses in tourism, education, politics and the nonprofit sector. As a communications agency, 61 Celsius oversees a wide range of projects, including traditional and digital advertising and marketing, social media management, website development, media strategy and placement, public relations, as well as campaign management.

61 Celsius has also formed an official partnership with Neal Moore of Neal Moore Creative. Moore is a 30-year veteran of the advertising industry and was a founding partner and award-winning creative director for The Communications Group in Little Rock. He will be involved with the agency's public relations projects and contributing to their management and creative product. He is also a professional voice actor and writes a weekly column for the Maumelle Monitor.
