CHI St. Vincent Medical Group will consolidate two of its Convenient Care clinics into one location over the next week as part of a reshuffling of physicians between existing office buildings.
The move will begin today and be completed by March 1. Patients should continue to go to their original locations today, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.
The clinic building at 100 McGowan Court, which is located near CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs at Werner and Higdon Ferry Road, will become the main location for Convenient Care, which will combine the clinics now located in a leased property on Central Avenue and at CHI St. Vincent Primary Care -- South Campus on Higdon Ferry Road.
The spokeswoman said CHI St. Vincent will no longer utilize the leased property on Central Avenue once the move is complete.
"Among our goals include unifying our internal medicine physicians and creating better access for our walk-in services," Tony Houston, president of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, said in a news release.
"These changes will also help reduce some expenses and better use our real estate," he said.
Dr. John Simpson, along with other physicians and nurse practitioners, will move to the new CHI St. Vincent Convenient Care. The phone number for this walk-in clinic will be 501-525-9675.
CHI St. Vincent Business Health, led by Dr. Mark Larey, will also move from Higdon Ferry Road to 100 McGowan Court, the release said. The phone number will change to 501-525-9675.
The CHI St. Vincent Community Care Clinic, often referred to as the McAuley Clinic, led by Dr. Donald Blagdon, will also move from Central Avenue to 100 McGowan Court. The phone number will remain 501-318-6199.
The current Convenient Care location on Higdon Ferry Road will become CHI St. Vincent Rheumatology Clinic. Drs. Ratinder Kaur and Melody St. John will move there from McGowan Court. The phone number will become 501-520-5476 for Suite 100.
The internal medicine physicians currently at 100 McGowan Court will also move to CHI St. Vincent Primary Care -- South Campus. The physicians moving include Drs. John Bond Jr., Amy Falck, Christine Lai, and Yang Xu, joining their colleagues Drs. Diane Bodeman, Donald Bodeman, Michael Bodeman, Stephen Bodeman and John Sorrells, the release said.
Their clinic address will be 1662 Higdon Ferry Road, Suite 200. The phone number for the South Campus clinic is 501-623-1781.
Also moving from McGowan Court is Dr. Halah Al-Dadah, who will join Drs. Andrew Grose and Randy Hill in the hospital's Medical Building, at 1 Mercy Lane, Suite 506, the release said. The phone number for CHI St. Vincent Primary Care -- Hot Springs is 501-622-6500.
