'Thanks' for kindness

Dear editor:

Some good news! Last week my daughter and I finished shopping at the Cornerstone Shopping area, got in my car and my daughter started to pull out of the parking space. A gentleman came up to this window and informed us of a flat tire, left rear. He apologized for not being able to fix it for us. We thanked him.

She called her husband, but he had a customer and couldn't leave. About that time, another gentleman came to our rescue. His wife and son pulled their truck up and started working on it. It was bitter cold and the "boot" was finally located under the car. The gentleman talked the son through the change, which was not an easy thing to do. So kind to teach him helpfulness to others. We finally were on our way. They would not take any money. Our hearts were bursting with gratitude. If you see Mr. Bobby Rhodes, Adriann and Bobby Jr., give them a big "Thank you."
