Dear editor:
So many of those on the left-wing side don't seem to understand and accept that the results of our recent election were actually a rejection of modern-day liberalism! The liberals have been in power now for eight miserable years and the majority of people clearly wanted a change, as the polls consistently had indicated.
The liberals (Democrats) had their chance to govern our nation and have proved to be a gross failure. The majority of voters could see that their policies don't work and have had enough of it!
Not only are the liberals' ideas not what America needs, they are still demonstrating by their bitter, angry and troublemaking behaviors what a bad attitude they have. They are showing to the rest of us clearly that instead of genuinely wanting to be patriotic by helping our nation, they are actually doing everything possible to try to prevent the good changes that are so sorely needed!
"Only two days after the election, President Obama sat by President-elect Donald J. Trump's side in the Oval Office and declared that the No. 1 priority in his last days in the White House would be ensuring a smooth transition of power."
"What Mr. Obama did not say was that he also intended to set up as many policy and ideological roadblocks as possible before Mr. Trump takes his oath of office on Jan. 20" (New York Times).
By misbehaving so badly, I believe that the liberals are only continuing to hurt themselves by showing everyone else, more than ever, exactly what they stand for and who they truly are. They are only shooting themselves in the foot by acting out so badly and are very likely lessening their chances of getting back into power.
As Newt Gingrich recently said, "The left-wing side lives in a delusional world and they have chosen to continue living in a delusion." The present-day Democratic Party is being destroyed because of the extreme leftist ideology they are now imposing! The fact is that the majority of the American people still have overall traditional family values. That's why (along with God's intervention in response to millions of prayers) our side won the election.
The liberals' leader, soon-to-be-gone Obama, has really shown everyone more than ever what kind of a person he truly is by stabbing our longtime friend, Israel, in the back! Obama, Secretary of State Kerry and many other supporting Democrats have really done much worse than shooting themselves in the foot by turning against Israel. Without realizing it, they have brought a genuine biblical curse upon themselves!
Look at Genesis 12:3, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever cures you I will curse." This is a covenant promise that God made long ago concerning Israel and -- it still applies! God can't lie. He must keep His promise. It doesn't have to happen immediately, but it is certain.
Christians -- please continue praying for God's guidance and wisdom for both Trump and Pence. God is our only hope.
