Ineffective leadership

Dear editor:

Mr. Obama has just told us that his administration had produced the least amount of scandals in recent history. Now if he had reminded us that he has played more golf than any president that has ever held the office, perhaps we could believe him. Apart from being a proven liar, he also possesses the great ability to simply discard from his memory any thing that he feels uncomfortable with.

For example: Fast and Furious (the illegal gun sales to criminals). An operation that resulted in border patrol agent Brian Terry being killed. The IRS debacle. A blatant misuse of power. Benghazi, a deadly terror event that the public was told repeatedly had been caused by a video. Although the administration knew at the time this was, in fact, not true. The Iran prisoner deal or perhaps better defined as a ransom for Americans being illegally held by the Iranians. The Iran nuclear deal, a one-sided agreement that will adversely impact the world for years. The Bergdahl swap for known a violent terrorist we held in custody. The prisoner release from Guantánamo, 30 percent of whom have returned to the war. I could go on, but I feel as if I am over cooking this by even mentioning all the lies he told regarding Obamacare. And we are yet to see the final list of folks he plans to pardon.

I guess if one could expunge the above facts from their mind, as Mr. Obama obviously has, then they may be able to regard Obama's departing words as mere bluster from a rejected loser. However, I think the families of men who died on Obama's watch will never forget him or his ineffective leadership.
