Toastmaster officer training slated
The semi-annual training session for Toastmasters Club officers in this part of Toastmasters International District 43 will be held Saturday in Little Rock at St. Vincent's Hospital, Markham and University. Officers planning to attend are requested to check for further detailed information or possible carpooling. The club would benefit by having at least four officers attend. An alternate evening makeup session will be held Feb. 9.
Annual Emblem Variety Show slated
Hot Springs Emblem Club 194 will present its 2017 Variety Show and dinner, Hooray for the USA, at 6 p.m. Feb. 18 and 1 p.m. Feb. 19 at Hot Springs Elks Lodge, 132 Abbott Place. Cost is $15 per person, seating is open. The event will start with dinner, followed an hour later by the show.
