The open house will be held Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. in the Workforce Development Center.

"SEARK has welcomed us to their campus providing an excellent space for training, a teacher workroom and office space for staff enabling us to provide services locally for providers and families," said Terri Helms, CCAWCA director.

Child Care Aware is a grant program administered by National Park College. The program recently expanded its service area to include Dallas, Grant and Jefferson counties.

The new satellite location was created through a grant from the Department of Human Services Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education.

The Child Care Resource and Referral office will provide resources and professional development for licensed/registered child care providers and referrals to families seeking child care. Staffers will be actively involved in the community and advocating for quality care for children.
