Upcoming events in Hot Springs

Events scheduled for February in Hot Springs include the following:

• Feb. 3-4 -- The US Stations Home and Outdoor Show, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Hot Springs Convention Center. The show will include landscaping, windows and doors, painting, cleaning, siding, electronics, lawn equipment, hot tubs, pools, plumbing and energy savings. Admission is $5. • Feb. 4 -- The Cheerlebrity Cheer Competition will be at the Hot Springs Convention Center. Expert judges will include star athletes, coaches and choreographers. Admission is $15, with children 5 and younger admitted free. Call Cheerlebrity at 855-278-6868 for more information.

• Feb. 4 -- A Mini-Spa-Con with a one-day-only $15 pre-sale for tickets for the Second Annual Spa-Con in September at the Hot Springs Convention Center. In addition to the bargain tickets, there will be the King of the Springs Video Gaming Tournament, sponsored by the Spa City Smash League, Team Knight Owl and Spa-Con. Smash 4 singles and doubles; Melee singles and doubles; P singles. There will also be contests in game-playing, cosplay, costumes, role-playing and other activities. • Feb. 5 -- The 13th Annual Chocolate Festival will be at the Embassy Suites Hot Springs -- Hotel and Spa. Admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. VIP tickets are $50. • Feb. 25 -- Hot Springs Jazz Society's Fifth Annual Mardi Gras Costume Ball and Contest will be at The Hotel Hot Springs & Spa Ballroom. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Cajun food and drinks will be available. Dixieland band starts playing at 6:30 p.m. Call 627-2425 for more information.
