William J. Becker III

William John Becker III, 70, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Jan. 19, 2017.

He was born April 12, 1946, in Chicago, Ill., to William Becker Jr. and Rosealma (L'Herault) Becker. Bill was a faithful member of Diamondhead Community Church and served loyally in his men's group. He was passionate about his high quality woodworking projects, his motorcycle, golf, creating stained glass windows and a good poker game once in a while. Bill always demonstrated a quick-fire sense of humor and a spirit of love for his family and friends. As a gentleman and a staunch conservative, Fox News will have lost one of its biggest fans.

Survivors include his parents; loving wife of 52 years, Eileen (Soper) Becker, of Hot Springs; son, William Becker IV (Kimberly), of Illinois; daughter, Marnae Kennedy (Stephen), of Minnesota; grandchildren, Maren, William V and Matthew Becker, Audrey, Charles and Gabriel Kennedy; brother, Michael Becker (Francine), of Illinois; sisters, Marlene Johnson (Harold), Christine Bryant, Laura Becker, Rebecca Elliott (Michael), Claudia Bruzzini (Christopher), all of Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bill's life will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Diamondhead Community Church with Dr. George McCoy and Pastor Mike Fikes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Arkansas Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
