HSA Quilt Guild moves location for July
The Hot Springs Area Quilt Guild's 5 p.m. Thursday meeting has been moved to the back Fellowship Hall at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 109 Hobson Ave., for July. Join in at 4:30 p.m. for socializing. The program will present round robin demonstrations. Visitors are welcome. Call Polly Orr, 501-865-3017, for information.
Toastmasters hold special meeting today
Hot Springs Toastmasters Club 7643 will hold a special meeting option at 6 p.m. today at Smokin' in Style Barbecue, 2278 Albert Pike Road, in Westgate Plaza, focusing on anyone who may find the regular Saturday meeting a problem to attend. This open dinner meeting will be in the separate meeting room and includes interested visitors, members and former members. Come early if you want to get dinner.
Toastmasters is an organization that assists people building communication leadership skills in a supportive atmosphere. There are teaching tools available to help members learn. Any questions about the organization may be asked after the program is over. This is the first of a planned series of such monthly Tuesday evening events.
