Force of Lakeside

The Sentinel-Record/Mara Kuhn Lakeside High School alumni Natalie Larrison, left, and Mouaz Moustafa spoke May 25 at the high school auditorium about the Syrian Civil War and their work with the Syrian Emergency Task Force for fifth-grade students from Lakeside Middle School. Teachers for the fifth-grade class integrated information about the ongoing conflict into their lessons and activities during the final week of school. Moustafa helped found the SETF in 2012 and now serves as executive director. Larrison joined the organization in early 2016 as director of outreach.
