The city's curbside recycling program is the Earth Angel Recycling Program. A progressive recycling program is the best way to deal with over-burdened landfills, protect the environment and reduce costs. By taking part in the Earth Angel Recycling Program, you have the opportunity to help ensure a healthy future for your community.
The "Earth Angel" truck collects the following materials: Aluminum cans, brown paper grocery bags, corrugated cardboard, plastic grades Nos. 1 and 2, newsprint, telephone books, leaves, grass and small brush.
The city will furnish the container and a calendar of scheduled collection days. The container should be placed curbside prior to 6 a.m. for pickup. If you aren't currently participating the Earth Angel program and would like to get involved, please call 321-6911.
