TUSCALOOSA, ALA. -- Carter Hickman Dodd, of Hot Springs, was named to the University of Alabama's dean's list for the 2016 fall semester.
A total of 11,758 students enrolled during the semester were named to the dean's list with an academic record of a 3.5 grade-point average or better. The dean's list recognizes full-time undergraduate students and does not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
Dodd graduated from Lakeside High School in 2014.
