Roanoke Baptist hosts a musical program

The Gospel Choir of Roanoke Baptist will feature local guest soloist Ruby Hill, as the choir celebrates its annual musical at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The slate of songs will focus on musical genres of anthem, spiritual, hymn, and old and contemporary gospel, thus the theme: "A Potpourri of Praise."

Minister Demond Newborn, accomplished musician and vocalist, will serve as guest pianist.

Glenwood Church of Christ welcomes all bikers

GLENWOOD -- Glenwood Church of Christ, 1300 Highway 70 west, Glenwood, will host Soul Rider Sunday with Bible class at 9:30 a.m., worship at 10:20 a.m., followed by a barbecue luncheon. A devotional will be held at 12:30 p.m. with a group bike ride at 1 p.m. All bikers are welcome. Casual dress and riding attire.

Living Waters Church of God in Christ, 306 Grove St., will host its annual Women's Day at 11 a.m. Sunday. The theme is "Building a Deeper Relationship in Christ." Mother Brenda Gipson, of Ridgeland, Miss., will be the keynote speaker. Everyone is welcome.

Greater St. Paul Baptist celebrates 137 years

The members of Greater St. Paul Baptist Church, 497 Crescent Ave., will celebrate their 137th Church Anniversary program at 3 p.m. Sunday. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Rodrick McCollum, pastor of First Baptist Rockport, Malvern. Music will be rendered by First Baptist Rockport and Greater St. Paul choirs. The public is welcome.

Greater Ebenezer MBC has 113th anniversary

Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 401 Lacey St., will celebrate its 113th Church Anniversary at 3 p.m Sunday. Guest speaker is the Rev. J.O.T. Lea and the Greater New Hope Baptist Church family, of Malvern. Come out and help celebrate the occasion.
