A Lonsdale man was arrested Saturday after allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend and kicking in her door in Hot Springs Village.

Sky Preston-Lee Ripley, 21, who lists a Duck Trail address, was taken into custody at 4 p.m. and charged with third-degree domestic battery, a felony punishable by up to six years in prison, and second-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days in jail. He remained in custody Monday in lieu of zero bond and is set to appear in Garland County District Court on April 17.

According to the affidavit, Hot Springs Village Police officers responded to a disturbance at 28 Pyrenees Way and upon arrival saw a white male, later identified as Ripley, yelling at a female and another male. The officers made contact with Ripley who reportedly continued to argue with the female even as they tried to assess the situation.

The female told officers Ripley had hit her under the left eye and had kicked in the front door of the residence. The area around her left eye was visibly red, and damage to the door was estimated at approximately $100.

The victim said she and Ripley previously dated and had lived together.
