AAUW convention held in Hot Springs Village

The Hot Springs/Hot Springs Village branch of AAUW recently hosted the annual Arkansas State Convention. Delegates from Fayetteville, Little Rock and Jonesboro were in attendance. The theme of the convention was "Women Leaders: Past, Present, Future."

A highlight of the events was a panel discussion about challenges in the work place. Panelists were Lesley Nalley, CEO of Hot Springs Village; Margaret Ellibee, chancellor, University of Arkansas -- Pulaski Technical College; and Susan Aldridge, university clinical supervisor in the Teacher's College at Henderson State University.

Moderator for the discussion was Claudia Richards, senior branch relations manager at the National AAUW offices.
