Winford and Martha Ann McBride Bates, of Hot Springs, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a reception from 3-5 p.m. today in First Pentecostal Church Family Life Center. Family and friends are welcome.
The couple were married Nov. 26, 1952, in Hot Springs, with the Rev. H.E. Reed officiating. Winford Bates is owner of Cedar Supply. Martha Bates is retired from Regions Bank. They are members of First Pentecostal Church.
They are the parents of Teresa and Tim Jarrell, and the late Steven Bates; and grandparents of Jared Jarrell, Jordanne and Bille Booth, and Justin Jarrell.
Levi and Mary Henry Kelley, of Hot Springs, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2-5 p.m. Dec. 9 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, hosted by their family.
The couple were married Dec.15, 1967, in Hot Springs at the home of Bob and Mernell Hatmaker, with the Rev. Dewell Hatmaker officiating. Levi Kelley is retired from B.R. McGinty. Mary Kelley is retired from National Park College. They are members of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
They are the parents of Gene and Carla Kelley, of Royal; and grandparents of Tanner Kelley and Kennedi Kelley.
