VFW Post 2278 hosts steak dinner Friday
VFW Post 2278, 2231 E. Grand Ave., will host a steak dinner from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, to include a 10-ounce sirloin steak, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled green beans and dessert for $10 per person. A dance will follow. Proceeds will go to help support local veterans.
Please come out and support veterans.
AARP driving classes at NPMC, HSV senior center
AARP Smart Driver courses will be sponsored by National Park Medical Center at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 14 and Good Samaritan Cedar Lodge, Hot Springs Village, at noon Sept. 14. Qualified graduates are eligible for an auto insurance discount.
There is a $15 fee for AARP members and $20 fee for nonmembers to cover course materials. Bring your driver's license and, if applicable, AARP membership card. Call NPMC at 620-2705 or Good Samaritan at 501-463-9028 to enroll.
