Diamond Lakes names director of lending

Jon Trotter has been named the new director of lending for Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Malvern. Trotter was previously vice president mortgage lending for Fidelity Bank & Trust of Dubuque, Iowa. He brings 32 years financial industry experience to his new position with Diamond Lakes.

"Jon's extensive mortgage loan experience will strengthen Diamond Lakes' position as a financial industry leader in Arkansas," said Tammy Passafiume, president/CEO. "With a proven track record for successful lending initiatives, Jon's skills are well suited to help us grow our mortgage lending program."

Trotter has served on the Carnegie-Stout Public Library Board of Trustees and the Dubuque and Jackson County Habitat for Humanity Family Selection Committee.

He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, Wis., and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business.

Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union is headquartered at 7333 Highway 270 in Malvern, Ark., with two branches in Hot Springs: 4032 Central Ave. and 115 E. Grand Ave. Diamond Lakes is a full-service credit union with $67.8 million in total assets and 10,923 members. To join the credit union, individuals must live, work, worship, attend school or regularly do business in Hot Spring, Garland, Clark, Grant, Pike and Montgomery counties and Hot Springs Village.

NPMC welcomes new

obstetrician, gynecologist

National Park Medical Center welcomed Dr. Joseph Browning, OB/GYN, to its medical staff. He will practice alongside Drs. Brenda Powell and Michael Colgrove at Physicians for Women.

Browning received his Bachelor of Science at Louisiana State University at Shreveport before obtaining his medical degree from the LSU Shreveport School of Medicine. He completed his internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in 1997, as well as his residency in 2000.

A veteran, Browning served in the Louisiana Army National Guard and United States Navy, serving as an officer in the Medical Corps. He has received military honors, including the Naval Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Armed Service Medal, Louisiana War Cross, and Kuwait Liberation Medals from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

Browning said some of his favorite memories are of living in Arkansas.

"I am so glad to be coming home," said Browning in the release. "Twenty-one years ago, I joined the Navy, but I was brought up in the Midsouth and have wanted to return home ever since."

"I look forward to doing my very best for those who have trusted me with their care," he said.
