St. Phillips COGIC has three-night revival
St. Phillips Church of God in Christ, 237 Walnut St., will have a Holy Ghost Revival at 7 p.m. Wednesday-Friday. Apostle Jessie Clark, of William Temple COGIC in Little Rock, will be the revivalist. Everyone is welcome.
Gethsemane MBC recognizes pastor's 16th anniversary
Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 120 Blake St., will have its 16th Pastor Anniversary Program at 3 p.m. Sunday. Guest church will be Roanoke Missionary Baptist Church and the Rev. Leon R. Massey.
St. Mark Baptist holds 20th anniversary banquet
St. Mark Baptist Church, 542 Crescent Ave., will have a 20th anniversary banquet at 6 p.m. Sept. 23 honoring moderator Donald and first lady Kathy Crossley.
Food, music and live entertainment will be provided.
