The Arkansas Diamonds 70-plus recently participated in the Arkansas Senior Olympics at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and qualified for the 2019 National Senior Games to be held in Albuquerque, N.M., next June. Teams from Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas competed in various age divisions with medals awarded for first, second and third places. The Diamonds were undefeated and won the gold medal in their division.
