The third "Women of Achievement" luncheon to be held on May 3. Details of the event will be announced soon. All proceeds are granted to programs in Garland County designed to prepare girls and young women for self-sustaining employment through education and job training. In the past two years, more than $6,000 in grants were awarded to Hot Springs Middle School and Mountain Pine High School. All schools in Garland County are encouraged to apply. Applications for grants will be available after June 1 by emailing [email protected].
