Arkansas Democrat-Gazette/THOMAS METTHE -- 4/7/2018 -- Arkansas quarterback Ty Storey (4) throws a pass during the Razorbacks' Red-White football game on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

LITTLE ROCK -- New Arkansas head football coach Chad Morris singled out several Razorbacks Saturday for the War Memorial Stadium crowd before the team's annual spring Red-White game.

Fourth-year junior quarterback Ty Storey, of Charleston, was among players who were lined up and introduced to the crowd prior to the game. Storey was among those cited as Most Consistent Offensive Players, along with redshirt junior offensive tackle Colton Jackson, of Conway; senior offensive tackle Brian Wallace, Florissant, Mo.; sophomore running back Chase Hayden, Memphis, Tenn.; junior running back Devwah Whaley, Beaumont, Texas; and receiver Jonathan Nance, Gulfport, Miss., a transfer from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

"I've just got to keep working," Storey said. "I think all of us would say the same thing. We've just got to keep working and try to make this pace go and get on top of things."

Storey said the players did not know beforehand they would be honored. He and third-year sophomore quarterback Cole Kelley each finished with 126 yards and a touchdown, while each was sacked twice.

Kelley finished 10-for-19 with five rushes for six yards. Storey was 7-for-14 with two runs for no gain.

The Most Consistent Defensive Players were senior defensive lineman Armon Watts, St. Louis; junior defensive lineman T.J. Smith, Moultrie, Ga.; senior defensive end Randy Ramsey; junior linebacker De'Jon "Scoota" Harris, Harvey, La.; and senior safety Santos Ramirez.

Senior offensive guard Jhalte Froholdt, Svendborg, Denmark; senior linebacker Dre Greenlaw, Fayetteville; and senior special-teamer Ryder Lucas, The Woodlands, Texas, were announced as the Spring MVPs.

Redshirt freshman receiver Tyson Morris, of Helena-West Helena; sophomore linebacker Grant Morgan, Greenwood; and defensive back Matt Berry, of Booneville, were declared "walk-on warriors."
