EL DORADO -- Lakeside scored a pair of goals in the second half as the Rams took a 3-1 win over El Dorado Tuesday night.

The Rams (13-3-1, 8-2 5A/6A-6) struggled to find their rhythm early on the grass field at the El Dorado Soccer Complex instead of the school's field, but they managed to get things going as two different players found the back of the net.

Philip Gayle scored with approximately 23 minutes remaining in the first half, chipping the ball over the charging El Dorado (4-7-2, 2-6) goalkeeper to give the Rams the early 1-0 lead.

With about eight minutes remaining, the Wildcats chipped in a shot of their own over Devin Nieto to knot the score at 1-1.

Miguel Arreola sent a cross to Grant Viscardis whose diving header blasted the ball into the back of the net with 32:02 to go in the second half.

Viscardis picked up his second goal of the night with about 10 minutes remaining as Christian Ramirez took the ball down the left side, crossing the ball to the sophomore striker. Viscardis's first shot bounced back, but he was able to get the ball in the back of the net on the rebound to set the final.

Lakeside travels to Benton (9-1-1, 8-0 5A/6A-5) tonight.
