Dear editor:
It's difficult for me communicate in both speech and the written word. I've never been an informed writer and I'm mostly deaf. And that's just my good qualities. Anyway, have you ever ask four people the time and maybe one will say 3:25? The rest will say 15 minutes until we arrive, it's been about an hour or it's almost break time. Amazing how hard it is to communicate something as simple as the time of day.
No wonder we misunderstand each other and become offended without good reason. It's hard. Words don't convey what the messenger is trying to say. People who read this letter will all have a slightly different interpretation. That's scary. So take everything with a grain of salt. Some of us mean well, but lack communication skills. Try to assume nothing but good intentions. Live and let live. That's my game.
