New Faith Christian celebrates 20 years
New Faith Christian Ministries, 219 Palmetto, will honor Pastor Audrey and first gentleman Lavon Chatman Sr. at the 20th Appreciation Celebration.
The theme will be "Fulfilling God's Commission: Sharing the Past and Envisioning the Future."
Appreciation 2018 will begin with an Honorary Service at 7 p.m. Friday.
There will be a banquet at 6 p.m. April 28 at the Malvern Adult Center, tickets are available upon request, and will climax at 4 p.m. April 29 with the Annual Appreciation Service.
Both services will be held at the church and the guest speaker will be Bishop George Dawson of Houston.

Ushers Day observed at Roanoke MBC
Roanoke Missionary Baptist Church, 236-238 Whittington Ave., will celebrate its annual Ushers Day at 3 p.m. Sunday. Speaker will be the Rev. Charles Gatlin, pastor of Evangelistic Baptist Church, North Little Rock. His choir and the Roanoke Male Chorus will render musical selections. The theme will be "Whatsoever Ye Do, Do All to the Glory of God."
New Beginning Christian observes Men's Day
Men's Day will be observed at 3 p.m. Sunday at New Beginning Christian Ministries, 323 E. Grand Ave. Guest speaker will be Bishop Gerry L. Young Sr., of New Establishment Word of Faith Ministries. The theme will be "Men Standing Strong in Such a Time as This."
Church anniversary at Angel Gabriel COGIC
Angel Gabriel Church of God in Christ, 155 Lemon St., will celebrate its church anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday. The theme will be "For We Walk by Faith, Not by Sight." Guest speaker will be Elder George Richard Shorter of Windows of Heaven Ministries COGIC, in Mineral Springs.
St. Mark Baptist has annual Youth Day
St. Mark Baptist Church, 542 Crescent, will observe its annual Youth Day during the 11 a.m. Sunday service. The theme will be "Ignite Your Faith." The guest will be the Rev. Sidney Milton, associate minister of Longley Baptist Church, Little Rock. Everyone is welcome.
Nazarene Baptist pastor, wife celebrating 17 years
Pastor James and Rhonda Lambert will celebrate 17 years at Nazarene Baptist Church, 220 Silver St., at 11 a.m. Sunday. Guests will be the Rev. Forest and Cleo Cooper of Mount Gale Baptist Church in Conway. Afterward, dinner will be served. All are welcome.
