Hot Springs man killed in fatal collision (updated)

Arkansas State Police have identified the victim of Sunday's fatal crash on Brady Mountain Road as Adam Lee Davis, 41, of Hot Springs.

Davis was a passenger in a 2011 Nissan that was southbound in the 600 block of Brady Mountain Road at around 5:25 p.m. Sunday when it crossed the double yellow line while negotiating a right-hand curve and struck a 2009 Chevrolet truck that was northbound, according to a preliminary fatal crash summary and officials at the scene on Sunday.

Both vehicles came to rest in the northbound lane.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene by Garland County Deputy Ryan Hamilton.

The driver of the Nissan, Zachary Kyle Mawk, 26, of Mount Ida, and the driver of the truck, Daniel E. Lawniczak, 61, of Royal, were also injured.
